HMK® R55 is a superior, mild alkaline, concentrated cleaner for removing general construction dirt, emulsion paint, wax coatings, the residual film built up from regular cleaning products as well as oil, grease and light cement film from all natural and artificial stone surfaces. HMK® R55 has been specially developed for use on polished and fine honed marble, limestone and travertine. For interior and exterior use.

Instructions: If under floor heating exists, switch it off and allow the surface to cool to room temperature. Apply HMK® R55 diluted with water (1:2 to 1:10) depending on the intensity of the dirt. Use a scrubbing brush, stiff hand brush or a suitable pad to work HMK® R55 into the surface. Leave for about 10 minutes but do not allow to dry, scrub the area again and remove the dirty liquid. Afterwards, flood rinse the area thoroughly with clean water. Repeat the procedure as necessary. For stubborn stains, HMK® R55 can be used undiluted. For periodic refreshing of surfaces and to re
move protective films use HMK® R55 diluted about 1:20. When using a wet vacuum we recommend that you add HMK® Z102 de-foamer to the water to regulate the amount of foam.

Important: Do not apply in direct sunlight. Do not apply on plastic, polished or waxed wood and lacquered areas. If these areas are splashed, remove splashes immediately and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Coverage: About 110 to 320 square feet per liter.

HMK® P24 is a 100% natural, Ph neutral maintenance cleaner and conditioner for all  natural and cast stone, agglomerate and ceramic tile, regardless of surface finish. With regular use, HMK® P24 forms a protective and invisible dirt repellent film, assisting impregnators and sealers in repelling stains.  HMK® P24 has a totally natural appearance (cures clear) and colors in the stone become more vivid with repeated use.

Instructions: Dilute 2-4 oz. (1/4-1/2 cup) of HMK® P24 per 2 1/2 gallons of clean water in a bucket. Damp mop surface, frequently wringing mop.  When water becomes soiled, replace it at same dilution.  Do not rinse off protective film. HMK® P24 may be used in an automatic
floor scrubber. Use daily for commercial installations and 1-2 times per week for residential installations.

Coverage: Up to 8000 square feet per liter diluted.

HMK® R77  (1 liter) is a ready to use special product that specifically removes rust spots and stains from all acid tolerant dense stone.  Special additives reduce the development of rust after treatment.  Do not apply in direct sunlight. Acid-sensitive surfaces such as polished and honed marble, limestone, agglomerates and concrete products, plastics and certain metal surfaces can be damaged by contact with HMK® R77.  For interior and exterior use.

Important:  Do not wet surface before being treated.  HMK® R77 can darken the stone if allowed to dry on the surface, although this may be reversed over time.

Instructions: Protect all adjacent surfaces. If under-floor heating exists, switch it off and allow the surface to cool to room temperature.  Apply undiluted HMK® R77 generously and evenly and work into the surface using a scrubbing brush, stiff brush or a suitable pad.  Always apply to the whole surface.  Place towels soaked with R77 onto the surface to keep the surface wet and to ensure that the treatment does not dry out. Immediately after application, cover the surface with plastic and let sit for 12 hours.  Remove any remaining product on the surface after 12 hours and clean the area thoroughly using HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner -acid free- diluted with clean water about 1:10 and remove
the dirty liquid.  Afterwards, rinse the area thoroughly with clean water.

Note:  Using R77 on soft stones (marble, limestone, etc.) will damage the surface and/or the polished finish.  During the 12 hour treatment period, it may be necessary to apply another coat of HMK® R77.  In the case of very heavy rust stains repeat the procedure. When using a wet vacuum we recommend that you add HMK® Z102 de-foamer to the water to regulate the amount of foam.

Coverage: About 50 to 160 square feet per liter

Warning: Chemical product. Contains phosphoric acid. Corrosive. Avoid eye/skin contact. If exposed, wash/flush with water and seek medical attention. HMK® P19 i (1 liter)s a concentrated wax based conditioner and maintenance cleaner/polish/protector for interior use on all polished and fine honed natural and artificial stone floors, walls, and stairways. HMK® P19 enhances the stone’s color and texture, creates a brilliant shine, and further protects against dirt and water infiltration. HMK® P19 is recommended for countertops, shower walls, and fireplaces. It also protects impregnators and sealers and does not smear or scuff.  Regular use reduces the visibility of marks caused by everyday wear.

Important: Clean surface thoroughly before treatment using HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner (diluted) followed by a flood rinse with water before applying. If under floor heating exists, switch it off and allow the surface to cool to room temperature.

Instructions: Shake well before use. Apply for the first time diluted 1:20 with warm water. Apply a thin and even layer using a soft white cloth, sponge, or flat wash mop and massage gently into the surface. Allow to dry and then buff by hand with a soft cloth,
by machine with a lambs wool bonnet, or a floor machine (175-1500 RPM with a lambswool pad).

Do not walk on the treated surface until completely dry, around one hour. The shine is maintained by occasionally adding 1 cup of HMK® P19 for every gallon of warm water and buffing the surface again once dry.  For periodic refreshing of the surface use HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner to remove old HMK® P19.  For regular cleaning and continued protection use HMK® P24 Liquid Stone Soap, a no-rinse natural product.

Coverage: About 1600 – 2700 square feet per liter.

P27 is a polishing powder for repairing and renewing the polish of marble and limestone surfaces, using special polishing machines. For professional use only.  P27 contains oxalic acid and can etch the surface if applied incorrectly.

Important: Sensitive surfaces like wood, parquet, carpets etc. must be protected. Deep scratches must be sanded out before application. P27 is not effective on granite, resin based agglomerate, or any other material devoid of calcium carbonate.  Darker natural stone usually does not polish up well or as easily as lighter colored stones. Some types of marble and limestone are very difficult or impossible to polish, so test the effectiveness in a small inconspicuous place to determine suitability. If under floor heating exists, make sure it is turned off at least two days before application to allow the surface to cool.

Instructions: Clean the surface thoroughly. Work on small sections at a time. Wet the area to be treated with water mixed with HMK R55 Intensive Cleaner. Allow the solution to soak in for a few minutes then sprinkle the polishing powder onto the wet surface and polish immediately until the desired gloss is generated. The remaining paste must be removed immediately (do not allow it to dry) with water and HMK
R55 Intensive Cleaner diluted 1:10, using a cloth, sponge or wet vac. Ensure that P27 is not sprinkled onto adjacent polished surfaces and ensure that any polishing machines and pads are not placed onto the floor itself or adjacent surfaces as this can cause damage. The build up of paste during the polishing process can be reduced by applying additional water. Rinse the treated areas thoroughly with clean water to remove any polishing powder residue. If the residue is not removed completely, it can cause spots.

Coverage: About 200-400 sq. feet per 750 grams (26.5oz or 1L) container.

METHODS

Application Read entire label before using. For new installations, sealer can be applied as soon as 48 hours after grouting. Surface must be clean, dry, and free of existing sealers or coatings. Apply using a sponge, brush, paint pad, cotton towel, or sprayer. NOTE: Be sure any sealer that does not penetrate surface is removed from surface within 5 minutes of each application using absorbent paper or cotton towels. If 2 or more coats are applied, allow a minimum of 30 minutes drying time between coats. 2 hours after final coat conduct a test to determine if surface is completely sealed by applying water droplets to the surface. If water is absorbed, apply an additional coat. Wait 2 hours and repeat the test. Ready for surface traffic in 2 hours after final coat. Keep area dry for 12 hours. Achieves a full cure in 24 hours. Clean applicator tools with water after each use.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
THINSET 911 is a factory blend of Portland cement, sand and a unique blend of special additives. C-Cure THINSET 911 produces an excellent bond with greater coverage than conventional dry-set mortars for the installation of ceramic tile.

BASIC USE

THINSET 911 is used as a bond coat for setting absorptive, semi-vitreous and vitreous ceramic tile for service in residential and commercial use for both floor and wall installations. It is used in a mortar bed from 3/32″ to 3/16″ (2.4 to 5 mm) after the tiles have been properly embedded. THINSET 911 has excellent water and impact resistance, is water cleanable, non-flammable, good for exterior work and requires no soaking of tiles. THINSET 911 mortar is not affected by prolonged contact with water, but does not form a waterproof barrier. THINSET 911 provides a permanent installation withhigher bond strength, however, requires lower material and labor costs than conventional Portland cement mortar beds.

AREAS OF USE Suitable backings, when properly prepared, include plumb and true masonry, concrete, gypsum board (dry interior walls only), cementitious backer units, cured Portland cement mortar beds, brick, ceramic tile and marble.

LIMITATIONS

THINSET 911 must not be applied directly over wood, asphalt sheeting, vinyl covered wall board, Masonite®, cement asbestos board, metal, glass, plastic or gypsum mortar beds. Apply in temperature range of 40°F to 90°F (4°C to 32°C). Do not allow mortar to freeze for the first 72 hours. Some green or red marbles may warp when installed with setting materials containing water, causing loss of bond and/or damage to the finish. These marbles must be set with COLORSET EPOXY 931.

MULTISET 917 is the economical polymermodified dry-set mortar designed for the bonding of all types of tiles. It may be used for either walls or floors for both interior and exterior applications where a liquid latexmodified mortar is recommended. MULTISET 917 is a blend of Portland cement, sand and special dry latex additives that significantly improve bond strength and freeze-thaw stability — performance characteristics typically available only through the addition of liquid latex additives to dry-set mortar.

BASIC USE

Product Description

Aqua Mix Penetrating Sealer is an economical, no-sheen, natural-look, water-based, penetrating sealer designed to resist stains. May also be used as a pre-grouting sealer.

Aqua Mix Build Green, Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) formulas helps to provide better indoor and outdoor air quality compared to similar traditional products. This product Complies with EPA and CARB VOC Requirements.

KEY FEATURES

Installation

METHODS Application Read entire label before using. For new installations, sealer can be applied as soon as 48 hours after grouting. Surface must be clean, dry, and free of existing sealers or coatings. Apply using a sponge, brush, paint pad, cotton towel, or sprayer. NOTE: Be sure any sealer that does not penetrate surface is polished dry off surface within 5 minutes of each application using absorbent paper or cotton towels. If 2 or more coats are applied, allow a minimum of 30 minutes drying time between coats. 2 hours after final coat conduct a test to determine if surface is completely sealed by applying water droplets to the surface. If water is absorbed, apply an additional coat. Wait 2 hours and repeat the test. Ready for surface traffic in 2 hours after final coat. Keep area dry for at least 12 hours. Achieves a full cure in 24 hours. Clean applicator tools with water after each use. For Pre-Grouting Application Apply over clean stone or tile a minimum of 2 hours prior to grouting – follow application procedures above

• Prevent build up of Grout Release in grout joints • Do not use acid solutions for cleanup as acid may react with Grout Release, forming a crystalline residue on surface

PREPARATORY WORK

Test a Small Area According to application instructions to determine desired results. METHODS Application Read entire label before using. Apply liberal coat ensuring 100% surface coverage using a sponge applicator, heavy-textured paint roller, or brush. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes drying time before grouting. Follow grout manufacturer’s instructions for grouting process. Grout Release residue should be removed through normal grout cleanup process. If Grout Release residue remains on surface, use Aqua Mix Heavy-Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner to remove. For most smooth porous surfaces, an application of sealer may be used prior to grouting.

Knife Grade Polyester is a high viscosity adhesive used to vertically or horizontally repair, rebuild, bond, and fill. Knife grade H will cure shiny, is very polishable and colors easily to match the stone. It cures fast and bonds extremely strong. Cures in lower temperatures. Not suitable for temperatures below 32°. Recommended for interior use.
