Diamond Pads

After extensive research and development, Alpha® established the diamond and bond formula best suited for today’s engineered stones, the result: Ceramica EX. Our research determined something else; Ceramica EX works extremely well on all natural stones, too. As a result, Ceramica EX can fulfill all the needs of all stone fabricators; one set of polishing pads that can produce a high quality shine on granite, engineered stone, quartz surfaces, marble (including hard to polish black and green), terrazzo and porcelain tile and slab. It can be used for other applications such as the edges of ceramics, woods and metals. It can also be used for paint removal, as the material will not clog. Marble shops will find Alpha® PVA Makita® Style very effective on contours, edges and irregular surfaces such as chamfers, bead molding, and other types of curved or rounded edges. Tile and floor installers will find that Alpha® PVA Makita® Style works great on the profiled edge of baseboard tiles. These resin discs work extremely well on even the most difficult granite floors and provide the best foundation to achieve the high degree of polish that is most desirable. Used properly, these resin discs are capable of equaling or exceeding factory finishes. The resin discs for granite utilize a thicker needle shaped pattern than the marble discs and require the addition of 60 pounds of weight to the AFP-300 for best polishing results.
