HMK P19 Marble & Granite Polish 1 liter

HMK® P19 i (1 liter)s a concentrated wax based conditioner and maintenance cleaner/polish/protector for interior use on all polished and fine honed natural and artificial stone floors, walls, and stairways. HMK® P19 enhances the stone's color and texture, creates a brilliant shine, and further protects against dirt and water infiltration. HMK® P19 is recommended for countertops, shower walls, and fireplaces. It also protects impregnators and sealers and does not smear or scuff. Regular use reduces the visibility of marks caused by everyday wear.

Important: Clean surface thoroughly before treatment using HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner (diluted) followed by a flood rinse with water before applying. If under floor heating exists, switch it off and allow the surface to cool to room temperature.

Instructions: Shake well before use. Apply for the first time diluted 1:20 with warm water. Apply a thin and even layer using a soft white cloth, sponge, or flat wash mop and massage gently into the surface. Allow to dry and then buff by hand with a soft cloth,
by machine with a lambs wool bonnet, or a floor machine (175-1500 RPM with a lambswool pad).

Do not walk on the treated surface until completely dry, around one hour. The shine is maintained by occasionally adding 1 cup of HMK® P19 for every gallon of warm water and buffing the surface again once dry. For periodic refreshing of the surface use HMK® R55 Intensive Cleaner to remove old HMK® P19. For regular cleaning and continued protection use HMK® P24 Liquid Stone Soap, a no-rinse natural product.

Coverage: About 1600 - 2700 square feet per liter.

Warning: Chemical product. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product in temperatures below 50°F and above 80°F.

Used to increase the shine in onyxes, marble, natural stones, granite, agglomerates and terrazzo. It also can brighten up stones that have lost their shine. CERA TEWAX is the result of pure and white waxes, dissolved through solvents. It allows high penetration levels on treated material leading to a long-lasting effect.

Directions

Read entire label before using. Use only as directed. Always test in a small inconspicuous area to determine ease of application and desired results. Allow new grout installations to cure for a minimum of 72 hours prior to application. Make sure surface is clean, dry and free of waxes and coatings.
1. If surface is heavily soiled, pre-clean with DuPontTM StoneTech® Professional KlenzAllTM Cleaner if needed.
2. Mask any surfaces not intended to be treated.
3. If you are using a variety of abrasive grits, ensure that the surface is well rinsed and a new pad is used for each changeover.
4. Apply approximately 1/2 cup Honing Powder plus 1 cup clean water to stone surface.
5. Refinish using a hand orbital sander or weighted floor machine at 130–140 lbs., 175 rpm, fitted with a natural hair pad.
6. Keep compound wet while refinishing with plenty of water. Add Honing Powder as needed.
7. Refinish area until the desired level of hone has been achieved.
8. Rinse well and use a wet vacuum or hot water extraction unit to remove all remaining compound.
9. Clean equipment with water. Use successively higher grits of Honing Powder to close the face of the stone and follow with DuPont™ StoneTech® Professional Polishing Powder and DuPont™ StoneTech® Professional Shining Powder as applicable.
