Aqua Mix Grout Release

Product Description 1-gallon Aqua Mix® Grout Release is a temporary, water-soluble, pre-grout coating. It provides protection against grout and mortar staining and eases grout cleanup.

USES
• For use on textured, masonry surfaces such as wire-cut brick or high textured stone such as slate.
LIMITATIONS
• Do not allow product to come in contact with any non-recommended surface
• Prevent build-up of Grout Release in grout joints • Do not use acid solutions for cleanup as the acid may react with Grout Release, forming a crystalline residue on the surface
• Product may discolor some light-colored tile and stone

Installation

PREPARATORY WORK

Test a Small Area According to application instructions to determine desired results. METHODS Application Read the entire label before using. Apply liberal coat ensuring 100% surface coverage using a sponge applicator, heavy-textured paint roller, or brush. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes of drying time before grouting. Follow the grout manufacturer’s instructions for the grouting process. Grout Release residue should be removed through the normal grout cleanup process. If Grout Release residue remains on the surface, use Aqua Mix Heavy-Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner to remove it. For most smooth porous surfaces, an application of sealer may be used prior to grouting.
